Cllr Claire Rowntree, Deputy Leader of Sunderland City Council and Hetton ward councillor, said: “The first free Elemore family music festival is almost here, and preparations are well under way for what promises to be a fantastic afternoon of local music and family fun.

“Throughout the transformation of Elemore into an eco-park, we have always envisioned the space as somewhere where residents can come together, and this event is the perfect chance for people to come along to enjoy the park and connect with their local community.”
