New Enterprise Studios CIC, headquartered in Sunderland, England welcome you all to their first Film Night of 2022. This will be held at New Enterprise Studios in Hepworth, Sunderland on Friday Feb 4th, 2022.
Entry is free for all. Tickets should be obtained from Eventbrite as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Having celebrated and concluded their successful Open Day Event in October 2021 with a special Film Screening Evening, NES have decided to do it all again, inviting local filmmakers from the Northeast and beyond to submit their films – free of charge – to see them exhibited on NES’ own Cinema Screen.
New Enterprise Studios welcomes submissions from artists and filmmakers across any genre or discipline, though imposes that the selected work be a maximum of 15 minutes or less in duration to allow for the screening of as much material as possible.
At the same time, attendees will be able to meet and network with local filmmakers and actors from across the region.
New Enterprise Studios CIC is a Creative Hub for the Northeast. Specialising in several Multimedia services, they provide Videography, Photography, Editing, Journalism, Script Consultation and Development, Studio Hire and a whole lot more. Refusing to be bound by budget, wanting to make their services as accessible as possible, NES has been created with a vision to help everyone in mind.
With this mantra in mind, New Enterprise Studios charge no admission for this event and offer free refreshment, free films and a promise for collaboration and the free exchange of ideas.
New Enterprise Studios recently held a successful workshop event in November at Northumbria University, Newcastle, entitled ‘The Power of Collaboration’ and spoke to those in attendance on the importance of working together across the region. This workshop was part of the Northeast International Film Festival 2021.
We ask that prospective artists and filmmakers wishing to show their work agree to attend the event themselves or send a representative to attend the event on their behalf, to give a short introduction before their work begins.
To have your project screened, please send a copy (and a few words about yourself and the project) to film@newenterprisestudios.com including confirming the work is yours to exhibit or that you have obtained the relevant permission to do so.
Closing date for applicants is 4pm Tuesday Feb 1st 2022, though please note that space is limited and early application is advised to avoid disappointment.
