LOVED up music fans have one last chance to make their wedding day unique – by taking up a final slot at a top North East festival.
Hardwick Festival, held in the grounds of Hardwick Hall Hotel, this year celebrates its tenth anniversary with a stellar line-up of musical talent.
And this year – for the first time – there’s an added attraction – the opportunity to get married at the event.
The festival runs from 16-18 August and announced earlier this year that there was a special wedding package available on each day.
All three slots were snapped up immediately, but unfortunately unforeseen circumstances meant the final day wedding had to be cancelled – which means the Sunday date is still up for grabs.
Anyone wanting to take up that space will not only have an incredible day but will also have a prime position for them and their guests to see the incredible music talent on show – headlined by former The Verve frontman, Richard Ashcroft.
The package – which is for up to 60 guests includes a civil ceremony taking place in Hardwick’s celebrated Floral Chapel at a time of their choosing between 11am and 1pm, followed by a Hardwick Festival cocktail and a barbeque served either in the chapel or the courtyard.
The newly weds and their guests will be able to enjoy both the wedding and the entertainment from the red double decker bus area, which they will have exclusive use of.
As well as having its own private garden and bar, the double decker bus is in a prime position with perfect views over the main stage.
Guests will also receive a VIP wedding wristband, which will also entitle them to enjoy some street food during the course of the day.
Everyone will also receive a VIP gift bag, with the newlyweds also able to spend their wedding night in one of Hardwick Festival’s glamping tents.
And they will also be able to relive the experience a year later, as they can celebrate their anniversary with five pairs of free tickets for the 2025 festival.
The wedding packages cost £9000 for 60 guests, with prices for additional guests available on application.
